For Grantham, the creatures in her paintings “reach out to our wounded land and send true love and heartfelt sentiment and bring us together as one.”</p> <p>Congdon’s work for the show draws on Victorian notions of romanticism and elegance. And then we had the <strong>Voice of The Portland Trailblazers</strong> in the house for Clifton Burt’s curated <strong>Boomshalaka</strong> Blazers’ themed-show.  </p><p>In March we had our first-ever physical installation with Nate Manny’s amazing <strong>Modular: Sonic Explorations</strong> that combined photography and real-live fake sonic equipment.  </p><p>April through July heavily featured Portland locals, first with artist-activist Roger Peet and then a group show curated by PSU student Emma Barnett titled and themed <strong>Heavy Metal</strong>. And in July we had the wonderful and talented Meg Hunt and her <strong>Cosmic Forest</strong>. </p><p>August saw the awesome team-up of Amy Ruppel and Driscoll Reid creating a magical world of real-life places with imaginary monsters with <strong>Wish You Were Here</strong>. </p><p>Nathan McKee and Brent Wick curated <strong>Cut-Ups</strong> in September. It was a group show that focused exclusively on cut-paper.
